Disaster Response

Responding When It Matters Most

Since its founding, ZDR3 has supported zoological facilities facing hurricanes, floods, wildfires, severe weather events, and other emergencies across the United States. Every response is different, but the mission remains the same: helping facilities protect animals, support staff, and recover more quickly during times of crisis. Explore some of our past responses below to see the impact of collaboration, preparedness, and a nationwide network of support.
